What was your first BJD?

And do you still have it?

Mine was a Custom House Bisou that I bought to see the color of the resin. But they are so cute and tiny that I still have her! Of course she's always half dressed because I am always borrowing her clothes or shoes or wig for another doll!

My first BJD was Goth Alice, a 12" resin BJD from Goodreau. I wish I had started out with something cheaper--since I think that doll has spoiled me! I still have her and love her to pieces!

To get back on subject, my first was Claude, a DZ Bb Jing boy in the old ns.
He was not the first to arrive, but the first I owned, and now I think he owns me *lol*

Berdine Creedy's Melodi! I fell pot-over-teakettle in love with her the first time I saw a photo of her, and the reality was even better. She's the doll I've wanted my entire life, I just didn't know it until I saw her!

My first ball jointed doll is my CHOA basic girl (Numi). I am so amazed that I was able to get her and wish Custom House were doing more of the SD sized dolls. Her resin is awesomely smooth. Unfortunately I don't think they sealed her face paint to well as it is fading and someday she will have to make a visit to a spa for a new face up.

I do have a OT question how do I post pictures to this forum? Can't figure this out....Lynne

My first doll was Rumor.. then I had to get Secret.. then found an Innuendo. So far, that is all I have... but am eyeing the Creedys and Pukis and a few (dozen?) others! lol Don't I wish money grew on trees????

I am totally NEW to BJDs.. been collecting all sorts of other dolls over the years (the last year I collected lots of Bleuette stuff). I didn't even know what SD and MSD stood for and DOA never gave me any help when I asked.. so I didn't go back. Am happy Kim put this up for us who love the Goodreaus and Creedys!!! WAY TO GO KIM!!!

My first BJD was Angelregion Dana. I had been looking at lots of BJDs online for several years, but needed to see one in person before buying. When we were on our house-hunting trip, one of the first things I did was go to DDE and pick one out!. After that... well... I said "only 1" but it was futile. She was quickily followed by Dollzone Shoyu and then several others. (I've lost count).
I do not still have Dana - I traded her for a ws Ami who I love even more.

My first BJD...well, Vicki sent me 2 at the same time. Vinyl Secret now known as Kate and a Domuya Bobo now known as Lucy. I still have them both but am contemplating re-homing Lucy. Kate will stay with me always. Here she is in a picture taken not long after she arrived here. She had already gotten her beautiful face up from Leah.

My first bjd was Happy Doll Elf Meadow, renamed Mabel. I still have her. I have tried every which way to copy her photo into this post. If anyone knows how, please tell me.

I had trouble with the photo thing, too. You need to use Photo Bucket or some such account. Then copy and paste the Image code. Hope that helps!
