I'll be at IDEX. I went last year and had a blast.

We'll (hubby and myself) be renting a condo across the street from the convention hotel and sharing with Connie (marbledhalls) and Jay again.

I'd love to meet you, Kim and Angie.

We had a "pizza party" Saturday night at the condo with members from several forums and hope to do it again in 2010.

I'll be there! Plane tickets are paid for and the hotel is reserved. A friend might join me otherwise I'll be there all by my lonesome self.

I will be at IDEX, I think my table is number 31! Next to Joe MacPhale and Roxanna Maria. I will also be checking in often at The Professional Doll Makers' Art Guild booth. We have some first timers who need pep talks, I remember my first IDEX! I couldn't stop smiling! I love to see all the new dolls and meet more artists!

Try not to stress too much Kim, just remember to pace yourself, and take deep breaths! This is a busy time of year for artists to be preparing for a show like Idex, with Christmas right around the corner. I imagine you are a very busy gal these days with two kids, the holidays, and IDEX coming up. I hope it's not too hectic for you. I sure hope I can go to IDEX so I can meet you and see your new creations.

We talk about and share pictures of your dolls a lot on the Himstedt Heaven forum. Your dolls are becoming very popular over there, so you'll probably have even more orders next year!

I have a love and hate relationship with IDEX. LOVE it mostly... after I actually get to Florida. But every year I bring my 2 children, ages 6 and 4 and we stay at my Mom's in St. Pete for a week before I drive up with all my "stuff" to Orlando for the show. So, I spent lots of time packing dolls and displays but also have to pack for 2 kids for 2 weeks!!! OMG! Seriously, once I get on the plane with the kids, I relax and enjoy the ride... it's just getting to the airplane that just about kills me!!!

My Son and Daughter are coming the first time this year to the show, which is going to be so fun for me and for them to actually see what Mommy does at these shows! They are coming to the show on Sunday with Grammy, go around at the show for a while and then, or course, play in the pool, then stay the night in my room. Can anyone guess what we are doing on MONDAY????????????????

Oh Kimberly, packing for two little kids for two weeks is a huge task, but also having to pack for a doll show must be crazy! I know what you mean, once you get on the plane or in the car, it's such a relief and you can start to enjoy the trip.

If we go, we'll have to leave early Sunday morning to drive back home, so I might miss seeing your kids. I hope I'll see them sometime on Saturday.

Good luck with your preparations. You must feel like one of Santa's elves!

I'm guessing you're going to Disney World on Monday! If we go to IDEX, we'll be going to the park one or two days before the doll show. It will be a great time of year to be there, when it's not too hot or crowded. Have you been to Disney World before?

Yes, it is crazy, but fun. I have been lots of times as a kid and an adult, but my kids have never been!!!!! It's going to really be so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
